Marine Radio Operators

This course will cover all facets of the Marine Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP). This certificate is required to operate a marine VHF (Very High Frequency) or HF (High Frequency) set as used on boats, both power and sail. VHF and HF radios are the only reliable forms of marine communications available and to use these radios a licence is required. The course will cover both licences.

The Marine Operators Handbook and course notes are included in the course fee and will be sent to you when payment is received.
We recommend study of these prior to the commencement of the course.

How long is the course?

2 x 3 hour theory, including exam.
